The World Federation of KSIMC would like to welcome Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi to his new role as the Assistant Secretary General for Islamic Education for the term 2009-2012.
Sayyid Aliraza Naqvi, son of Marhoom Sayyid Ansar Hussein Naqvi was born in Dodoma Tanzania. Sayyid Naqvi currently resides in Birmingham, UK. He is married and has three 3 children.
Sayyid Naqvi has a vast educational background. He obtained a Bachelors Degree in Islamic studies and Arabic from Madrasah Sayed Al Khoei Stanmore which was set up by The World Federation under the tutelage of Marhum Mulla Asgher and Shaykh Zafar Abbas. He studied further in Qum under the tutelage of Ayatullah Sayyid Ahmad Madadi and has obtained a Masters in Islamic Studies from the University of Punjab.
Serving the community is in his blood and he has served on various boards and travels worldwide to speak during Muharram, Safar and Ramadhan. He has served as the Principal and lecturer at the Al Mahdi Institute in Birmingham, and is an Alumni of the Muslim Council of Britain 2010 Leadership Development Programme , and Faith in Leadership 2009. He is the Tabligh Chairman of KSIMC Birmingham.
Sayyid Naqvi’s interests include the Arabic language, fiqh and spirituality.

Shaykh Abbas Ismail, the previous ASG of Islamic Education will continue in his role as Manager at Dar Al Tableegh. The World Federation would like to thank Shaykh Abbas for his significant efforts and contributions as ASG over the past 3 years.
