During the week of 8 March 2010, Shan-E-Abbas Hassam, Executive Councillor and Deputy Secretary General of The World Federation of KSIMC had the pleasure of visiting the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania’s (BMMT) Temeke Education Complex.
He was taken on a tour of the Centre’s multi-dimensional facility by the Chairman of The Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania, Al Hajj Shabbir Bhai Somji as well as the Executive Secretary, Mustafa Bhai Sheriff where he was shown the various segments of the Temeka Complex which included a primary, secondary, hawza and a teacher’s training section.
Various issues were discussed about The World Federation of KSIMC, The Africa Federation and the Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania’s cooperative efforts including, but not limited to education, health, microfinance, economic upliftment, Tableegh and ZCSS.
Upon returning back to the United Kingdom, Shan-E-Abbas Hassam said, “I am delighted to have visited Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania’s Temeke Education Complex. We thank the BMMT team for their wonderful hospitality and are looking forward to working closely with the Bilal network including the BMMT in the future, Insha’Allah. They are doing wonderful work and I was truly pleased to see the fantastic progress that has been made in recent years.”
