Position
Health and Education Manager
The World Federation of KSIMC, an International Community and Relief Charity NGO requires a Manager to join their team and take a lead on the Health and Education Action Plan. Your main focus will be to Plan, Develop, Lead, Co-ordinate, Implement and Report on our Health and Education Projects and Initiatives.
Whilst being a core part of the team you will also be required to build effective working relationships with internal staff, volunteers and our partners as well as provide leadership and direction for projects to move the charity forward.
In order to work with our Partners you will need to be Multi Lingual with the abilty to communicate in English and Urdu and be willing to travel to visit projects and areas in which we are working.

Job Purpose
• Responsible for managing and delivering the Health and Education Remit of The World Federation
• Provide leadership and direction to Health and Education Projects
• Deliver the health and Education Action plan
• Communicate with our partners
• To keep excellent records
• Co-ordinate between Staff, Volunteers and Partners
• To ensure regular publicy of projects and ongoing work.
• Ensure “penny accounting” and reporting from our Partners
• To travel and visit projects and provide detailed reports.
• To expand projects and identify, and develop new projects
• Work smartly and efficiently to identify synergies between projects
• Produce regular reports
Hours
35 hours per week with flexibility on some evenings and weekends on a need to need basis

Person Specification
Essential
The applicant should have:
• experience of working and collaborating with others
• excellent written skills in English
• ability to communicate verbally in Urdu
• ability to use Microsoft Office
• Confident in the use of Email
• able and willing to travel
Desirable
The applicant should have:
• ability to communicate in other language used in the indian sub-continent
• experience working in the Humanitarian Relief and Not For Profit Sector
