In line with our commitment to meet and greet the community, on 8 October 2011, on the occasion of the Wiladat of the 8th Imam (AS), the President of The World Federation, Dr. Asghar Moledina had the opportunity to address the members of the New York Jamaat. 

In his address, he briefed the members on various activities and projects that The World Federation has launched or will be embarking on.

  

Dr. Moledina reviewed the progress of the current madrasah programme, and the launch of The World Federation Foundation Fund. 

He also spent some time discussing the situation and activities in Africa, emphasising on the Economic Upliftment Programme, and the current disasters that the people of Africa are currently facing.  In addition, he spoke of the importance of the centralization of Huqook funds and discussed current issues that are prevalent in the West such as spouse selection, marital issues and the upbringing of children.
