The successes of ZCSS are being constantly relived, embraced and retold because of one reason alone. We want to make a greater impact on society and we see education as the sole means to overcoming poverty.
The headlines, the fancy sayings, the clichés aside Zainabiyya Child Sponsorship Scheme for over 30 years continues to deliver the same, if not more since its inception in 1981. With your generous sponsorships, together we have lifted communities from poverty, improved the living standards of many families and the children we have saved from poverty and going astray, should be more than enough to inspire us to keep the keep the legacy alive.
ZCSS is once again asking the community to help the people of Haiti by sponsoring 120 students. Providing a child a sponsorship of £15 a month to attend The Al Mahdi School in Haiti allows us to secure their present from devastating poverty, and it ensures their full potential can be one day achieved through education.
The Al Mahdi Islamic Centre and School was founded in September 2000 in Carrefour, Haiti. The original school building was entirely demolished in the earthquake of January 2010. A temporary school was rebuilt soon after the quake and funded by The World Federation to shelter the children from the hot sun and rain.

Giving just £15 GBP/$20 USD/CAD $20 a month per child will enrich these children immeasurably, infusing their minds with the light of knowledge and their hearts with the love of the Ahlul Bayt (AS). This sponsorship will go towards paying their school fees, meals and supplies.
Zainabiya Child Sponsorship Scheme works in Kenya, Tanzania, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Haiti. We sponsor over 5000 students in six countries ranging from Kindergarten to University Education.
