An Opportunity To Earn Thawab For Our Beloved Marhoomeen
The Hajj Medical Mission starts working well before our beloved Hujjaj come to the Holy Cities of Makkah and Medina. In-fact the preparation for next year’s Hajj has already started and the Hajj Medical Mission is looking at ways to raise funds to sponsor doctors and buy medication.
The Hajj Medical Mission:
- Organises seminars about Hajj to educate Hujjaj about the journey
- Provides medical check ups & consultation to make sure Hujjaj are in good health before their Journey
- Provides meningitis and flu vaccinations
- Distributes health brochures and literature
- Provides various Hajj Groups with telephone numbers of doctors available during Hajj well before departure.
- Supplies a fully equipped team of doctors, paramedics and volunteers that provide an invaluable and much-needed service during the Hajj Season
- Conducts satellite clinics in various locations accessible to Hujjaj for their health needs
- Establishes a 24 hour telephone helpline that is shared with all group leaders within the community for their ready reference at any time during their stay

This year some of us will be fortunate enough to go to Hajj and take part in a journey of a lifetime however for the rest of us, the priceless joy of Communion with our Lord will be achieved by serving our fellow brothers and sisters in faith and contributing towards the mission financially.
Imam Sadiq AS, enumerating the benefits of service to others in the way of Allah SWT, has stated:
Everyone who circumambulates Allah's House one time,
Allah writes down
1000 good deeds for him,
vanishes 1000 of his sins,
gives him 1000 rewards,
plants 1000 trees for him in Paradise,
gives him mercifully the recompense for delivering 1000 slaves.
When he reaches Moltazem, 8 doors of Heaven open and he is told:
Enter whichever door you wish.
Everyone who does something for his faithful brothers,
God will give him the recompense of 10 circumambulations

Brief Overview of Hajj 1431/2010
Imamia Medics International (IMI) Hajj Medical Mission attended to 17,812 patients during Hajj 2010/1431. The World Federation partnered with IMI Hajj Medical Mission to ensure that all Hujjaj from our community had access to health care during this historic expedition. Satellite clinics were established all around Makkah and Medina. Groups were able to put forward requests for a doctor from the Hajj Medical Mission team to come to their lodgings to conduct a clinic. A 24-hour helpline telephone number was also provided to all group leaders from our community.
