Alhamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen.  We are very excited to be part of this Program that will Insha-Allah improve the direction of our communities in the future.  More than that, we are looking forward to being part of the first batch of students who Insha-Allah will shape this course making it easier for the rest of the students who decide to embark on this journey.  We know that it will not be all smooth sailing; however, we are confident in knowing that there will at least be a boat for us to sail on. Whatever else happens is now in the hands of Allah (SWT).

Making the decision to embark on this Program was not difficult, as we feel it is a calling and a duty to serve our Allah (SWT) and our living Imam (AS).

The most difficult step for us was closing up and leaving everything that we have and know. We had to quit our jobs, sell all our belongings and say goodbye to our family and friends. However, we know that the outcome of this 4 year course will be one that will be fruitful and beneficial, not only for us but also for the entire community at large.

As a way of keeping in touch with our family and friends about our experiences, we have started a blog so that everyone can follow us on our journey. The website for this blog  is www.JafferAndSabiha.blogspot.com . 

Up until now, we have discussed all that we have done to prepare for this journey, soon Insha-Allah we will discuss the progress of this course and how we have settled in our new lives in Damascus. Please remember us in your Du'as.
