Last visitors to IIPS before its closure

Hujjatul Islam Sayed Mahdi Modarresi with the official of Hawzat al-Qaem (a.t.f.) visited IIPS in Sayyida Zainab a.s. on 26 July, before its final closure.

They were welcomed by Dr. Mahmood Y. Abdulla and had useful discussion in relation to the problems and constraints faced by the Hawzas in different parts of the world.

The official of Hawzat al-Qaem, Shaykh Abu Hassan, thanked The World Federation for donating office furniture and fixtures and classroom furniture to the Hawza.

Earlier, in a letter to Hawzat al-Khomeini and Hawzat al-Qaem, Dr. Abdulla had mentioned that the possessions of IIPS which are being donated by The World Federation have to be utilised for promoting their educational aims and objectives and that they may not be sold.

In future, if the Hawzas wish to dispose of them then they have to donate them to other Hawzas, involved in promoting the teaching of Shia Ithnaasheri faith.

Sayed Modarresi appreciated the activities of IIPS. He said that if the facilities are being closed down because of special circumstances, the ajr and thawab (the reward and divine blessings) of those involved with IIPS remains with Allah s.w.t.

Dr. Abdulla thanked them for visiting the IIPS and he wished them all the best in their pursuits for teaching and preaching the Madhab of Ahl-ul-Bayt a.s.
