Despite the weather and political challenges in Pakistan, relief efforts continued in the areas of housing, food and agriculture:
NORTH REGION
Housing: The construction work on housing is running smoothly. Another 135 applicants have been identified who need housing; this list is in the verification process and if all goes well, construction will begin by March 2011. The following table illustrates the current status of the housing project underway:

SOUTH REGION

Agriculture: 157 farmers were given assistance to cultivate wheat on 314 acres of land in Dadu and Qaumber Shahdadkot. The purpose of this project is to help these farmers generate income and to become financially self-sufficient.
